VISD STUDENTS HONORED AT ANNUAL BOARD EXCELLENCE AWARDS

On Monday, March 20, and Tuesday, March 21, the Victoria ISD Board of Trustees recognized the top five fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students and the top 10 freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior students from Victoria East High School and Victoria West High School and their feeder campuses, respectively.

VICTORIA WEST BARBENDER THSWPA STATE MEET RESULTS

On March 18, the Victoria West Barbenders attended the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s State Meet in Frisco, Texas.

Victoria West placed 6th as a team, taking home many individual places including an individual State Champion!

LADY TITAN POWERLIFTING BRINGS HOME STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Victoria East High School Lady Titan Powerlifting Team ended their Spring Break by taking home the 5A Division 1 Championship from the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association State Championship Meet in Frisco.

GOLDEN SABERS AND SABERETTES ATTEND LAST COMPETITION OF THE 22-23 SEASON

The Victoria East High School Golden Sabers and Saberettes Dance Teams attended their last competition of the season in Katy this past weekend at the Ascension State Challenge.

Victoria ISD's Leadership Definition, Leading Toward Genius, is separated into three categories (Connecting, Growing, and Reaching). This month our focus is on celebrating Growing in Genius. Growing in Genius is comprised of four indicators; the first is Develops Self.

Last month, each campus selected one employee that embodies the “Develops Self” indicator under Growing.
